Amanda Dunagan-Price is Chapter Chair of Moms for Liberty - Wilson , County, TN. She is a native of Wilson County and an alumnus of Mount Juliet High School. Following the death of her first husband, she moved her five children from his hometown in Rappahannock County, Virginia back to her hometown. Amanda found peace in knowing her children would be able to attend Wilson County Schools with friends and family. She graduated summa cum laude at Liberty University where she received a Bachelor of Science in counseling with a minor in Special Education. After graduating, she married Brian, another Wilson County native, thereby completing their family of 8. Amanda has spent almost 15 years working with children as a homeschool mom, Sunday school teacher, pre-school teacher, substitute teacher, education assistant, special needs ministry leader, and a Registered Behavioral Technician in ABA Therapy. Working with special needs students in Wilson County Schools gave Amanda a unique insight into administrative decisions that were not in the best interest of children, families, or teachers. She and her husband are committed to holding leadership accountable while educating and advocating for parents rights and responsibilities in Wilson County, TN.
